Beginners Sewing Workshop
Do you have a sewing machine but don't know what to do with it? Would you like to learn how to sew but don't know where to start?
In this beginners course, you will learn how to thread your machine, wind a bobbin, adjust the tension & stitch length as well as trying out different stitches and understanding their functions. The workshop comes with worksheets so that you can practise sewing at home and also offers tips like where to buy your fabric and essential equipment needed to get sewing.
All fabrics are supplied and by the end of the lesson you will have an envelope back cushion cover to take home!

FAQ
Q: How many students are in the class?
A: Usually I limit classes to six students but sometimes I can cater for up to ten. If there are more than six students I will have an experienced assistant teaching with me.
Q: Do I need any sewing experience?
A: No. I start from scratch but people with some skills can also benefit from the course.
Q: Is the workshop suitable for children?
A: While the course content is suitable for kids over 10 years old, this workshop is only for students aged over 16.
Q: I can't make it to the workshop, am I able to get a refund?
A: Refunds can be issued up to 2 weeks before a workshop less 20%. Within the 2 weeks, if I am able to fill the spot, the refund less 20% still stands. If I am not able to fill the spot, I can offer a refund less 50% up to 24 hours before the event. Cancellations within 24hrs are non refundable.
