Zips, Bits 'n' Bobs Sewing Workshop
Do you have a have a little bit of sewing knowledge but need a little help to take your project to the next level?
Are zips giving you a headache?
In this course, you will learn how to insert a lap zipper and to 'flat lay' a zip to make simple pouches. You will then use bias tape, 'two ways' to finish off an edge.
These techniques will help you in basic dressmaking and quilting projects.
All fabrics, zippers and threads supplied.

FAQ
Q: How many students are in the class?
A: Usually I limit classes to six students but sometimes I can cater for up to ten. If there are more than six students I will have an experienced assistant teaching with me.
Q: Do I need any sewing experience?
A: No. I start from scratch but people with some skills can also benefit from the course.
Q: Is the workshop suitable for children?
A: While the course content is suitable for kids over 10 years old, this workshop is only for students aged over 16.
Q: I can't make it to the workshop, am I able to get a refund?
A: Refunds can be issued up to 2 weeks before a workshop less 20%. Within the 2 weeks, if I am able to fill the spot, the refund less 20% still stands. If I am not able to fill the spot, I can offer a refund less 50% up to 24 hours before the event. Cancellations within 24hrs are non refundable.
