In this course, your child will learn to appliqué, sew straight and zig zag stitch and hand stitching.
Suitable for children aged 10-14

No experience is needed, just bring your own sewing machine. All fabrics are supplied and by the end of the lesson you will have an babushka cushion to take home!

Light snacks will be served as part of the course.

Where: Henderson Park Hall, Adamstown.
When: Wednesday 12th of April and Wednesday 19th of April

FAQ

Q: How many students are in the class?
A: Usually I limit classes to six students but sometimes I can cater for up to ten. If there are more than six students I will have an experienced assistant teaching with me.

Q: Do I need any sewing experience?
A: No. I start from scratch but people with some skills can also benefit from the course.

Q: Is the workshop suitable for children?
A: Yes-This course is for children aged from 10 to 14 years old.Q: I can't make it to the workshop, am I able to get a refund?

A: Refunds can be issued up to 2 weeks before a workshop less 20%. Within the 2 weeks, if I am able to fill the spot, the refund less 20% still stands. If I am not able to fill the spot, I can offer a refund less 50% up to 24 hours before the event. Cancellations within 24hrs are non refundable.

Please note that I am a qualified high school teacher with a current working with children check. My qualifications include a Bachelors degree in teaching with a Certificate 4 in Applied fashion Design.
